About Our Farm
Happy Heron Farm is a small farm located in Nampa, Idaho. Established in 2020, we are excited to feed our community fresh, local food grown without the use of pesticides or herbicides. We strive to grow our produce with the health of the land in mind, using minimal tillage, a variety of composting methods, vermiculture (worm castings & tea), and cover crops.
We are excited to offer our first CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program starting in Spring 2022.
About Us
Hi! We are Brian and Stephanie, founders of Happy Heron Farm!
Brian is a lawyer by day and a plant enthusiast during the evenings and weekends (as well as a rabble rouser 24/7.) When he’s not outside working on the farm, you can find him watching movies or making a mean lasagna.

Stephanie worked as a farmhand in Germany and at Peaceful Belly Farm before starting Happy Heron Farm. Besides farming, Stephanie’s favorite things are being a mom, reading, writing, eating, and embarking on various whimsical creative endeavors.
